Cuprona Football Club

By Zac Perkins

Cuprona Football Club, like many regional sporting clubs, is a backbone of the community.

In August 2021 fire tore through the Cuprona Football Clubhouse, leaving little but charred remains. Firefighters battled the blaze for hours but were unable to save the building.  During that time, the community rallied around the Club.

Many local families have needed to use the support of Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania, staying at Ronald McDonald House Hobart in their time of need.  The Club is now in a position to give back and are committing their Football Match on Saturday 1 July as a fundraiser for the Charity.

Let’s join together to raise funds to support this amazing House that is there for the families with very sick children going through their toughest times. Remember that every little bit helps, and together we can make a positive impact from our communities.

Thanks so much for your support and donations!
