Ride For Sick Kids
Celebrating 13 years!
Ride for Sick Kids Victoria is an annual cycling event that pushes cyclists to the pedal while raising much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania. In 2023 riders will cycle around Melbourne on Friday 17 March and do a 10-Hour Rooftop Spin Challenge in St Kilda on Saturday 18 March.
The sole purpose of the ride, is to help keep the doors of our Ronald McDonald Houses at Monash, North Fitzroy, Hobart and Parkville and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Monash, Northern, Sunshine and Wodonga open for families when they need us the most.
Registrations for our one-day road ride are now open, you have the choice between either a 60km or 100km challenge. We will start and finish at Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy so you will have the opportunity to see exactly where your fundraising efforts are helping families with seriously ill children. Please click the link and sign up before 9 January to receive your Ride For Sick Kids cycling jersey valued at $80!

Why we are fundraising-Meet Darcy!
In June 2022, eleven-year-old Darcy was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphona (ALCL). Since her diagnosis, Darcy’s family called Ronald McDonald House North Fitzroy home for 156 nights.
With home for Darcy’s family in Warracknabeal being more than a 3-hour drive from Melbourne, Ronald McDonald House north Fitzroy has been a place of stability and support during such a challenging time.
“I honestly don’t know where we would be without the House. It would have really been a nightmare.”
